We respect the comfort level of our clients. Having a stranger come into your home to go through your personal effects can be unsettling. We understand this is a delicate matter and we have taken the following steps to address your concerns.

Our stop sign system

In the week prior to your service appointment you will receive a "pre-ID" packet. The packet explains our process in detail and provides you set of "stop sign" stickers. These stickers are to be placed anywhere in your home or office you would prefer not to be recorded. Many people use the stickers to identify areas containing sensitive documents, medication prescription bottles, locations of safes and other personal areas throughout the space they choose not to have recorded.

This is a partnership

While documenting personal effects including jewelry and collectibles we require the homeowner be present. The client will be responsible for positioning for documentation, all delicate and fragile items. During this documentation process clients will provide a detailed description of property including value and when/how each item was acquired.

Document distribution

In order to keep your documentation record secure it is our policy not to release any records to any third party, e.g., lawyers, claims adjusters, etc. We will release the record only to the contracting client - no exceptions. In addition, a legal picture ID and original signature(s) of the contracting client is required for release.
